A startling presentation, based on some new research undertaken by local Camden residents, will be made on on the Demise of Camden’s Street Trees.
All over Camden our mature trees are disappearing. A new report has discovered that, compared to its neighbours, Camden:
- has the fewest number of street trees
- chops down more trees
- has more tree deaths
- spends more on tree contractors
- has the largest tree maintenance budget
- and a Trees Policy that is not based on sound evidence.
Come to the meeting and find out why this is happening, and how you can help to save our trees!
Date: Tuesday 11th December at 19:30
Location: Music Lecture Theatre at UCS (University College School), Frognal, London NW3 6XH.
Please let us know if you can attend as the venue capacity is limited to 120 people.
