Revised O2 development plans, application reference 2025/0484/P – Comments expiring soon

The updated plans add two storeys to three of the tallest blocks and extra storeys to five other blocks. This takes the tallest block to 17 storeys, with two at 16 storey blocks.  Historic England has previously commented that, “The volume and scale of the development means that there is a harmful impact to designated heritage assets through development within their setting.”  The higher blocks will also damage some important views of St Paul’s.

Although the amount of green space has been increased, we estimate that it remains 40% below that required by Camden’s Local Plan, creating further pressure on other green spaces in an area that is already designated as green space deprived.
